What do to when the engraved voodoo shift knob won't align?? HELP pls~~
The engraving on my voodoo shift knob is just slightly off the center when the shift knob is screwed all the way down. what should i do??
thanks for the help, but i wonder how does it work. it that some kinda glue that stick the shift knob permanantly? my knob is just slightly off the center when screwed all the way down and tightened with all the power i have. Seems there's no room to screwed the knob further down to get engraving aligned, even if i use that glue stuff. any suggestion?? thank you guys....

Autozone has it too. that is where I got mine. I don't have the engravings, but the knob still came loose quite often from everyday driving. The BLUE loctite works great! And if needed to take it off, a sharp twist will do the trick
There's is no risk in using loctite. It comes in a very small tube and only a small amount is needed to coat any threads. It comes out of the tube looking like blue water. It's intended to hold nuts and bolts together when vibration might otherwise cause them to undo. It is not intended to never come apart. As was said, the knob can be removed with slightly more hand torque than one would use without loctite on it. The idea of the nut below the knob is traditionally the way shift knobs are held in place; however, with the voodoo knob it's intended to go down the shaft as far as possible. As I recall you run out of threads when it's seated properly - thus there really no room for a lock nut.
