Default what do you guys think?

Whats up guys.

I'm thinking about painting the exterior of my car laguna blue, its BB right now.

I'm just thinking of painting the exterior and not the engine compartment.

Should I paint the door jams too?

After it's painted laguna blue I'm going to put a cf hood on

Should I put a cf trunk? or is just a cf hood cool.

thanks

you will get some people who say they approve and go for it, you'll get others who think you're crazy. You'll then also get varying opinions in between. I don't understand how that will help you make your decision. You need to decide what YOU want for yourself and not turn back.

But since you asked for opinions...In MY opinion, if you're going to change the color of a car, you should do it the "right" way and do the engine compartment, door jams, etc. In my opinion, it looks half assed if you don't. Do you plan on painting the CF Hood and trunk too? Otherwise you'll be painting your black car blue, then putting a black hood and trunk back on....Although, that might make the black door jams and engine bay look a bit better.

imo, if you have the funds, i say paint the whole thing, if not, then you can pull off w/o painting the engine bay, since you car is blk. as for CF, id do just the hood.

with a black engine bay, it will look alright regardless of what you do or not, but if you can afford it i would paint the engine bay as well. As for the door jams, you definatly want to paint those. It would look tacky if you dont.

for sure,
alright i'm going to paint everything except the engine bay, i don't think just black in the engine bay looks bad at all.
i am going to get a cf hood when i paint the car so i can put it on after its painted.

i'm probably going to paint the trunk too... hopefully it comes out good!

What about selling the car. Take the money from the sell, add what you saved for the paint job & buy a genuine LBP car.
