Default What do you guys think my car is worth?

I have no idea how pricing on these cars goes, but I just wanted to get an idea because I was thinking of listing it for sale to move up to an NA1 NSX possibly so I'd appreciate it if you guys could apraise my car lol. Its not finished quite yet but soon will be so I'll just list it in the condition I plan on selling it in.

Its a 2002 Berlina Black. 106k on the chassis, about 50-60 on the motor. Motor is very strong, made 207/139 to the wheels on a dynojet, from what I hear thats on the higher end of the stock power spectrum. Swapped in red oem carpets and floor mats.

Car has the following mods:
-Greddy bolt on kit tuned @ 10 psi by DSG
-Innovative 75A motor mount kit
-Custom 3" exhaust with Hi-Power muffler w/ stock cat
-Type S BOV

-225/45/17 - 255/40/17 RT615's on staggered dark bronze Slipstreams
-Project Kics Caliber Blue lugs
-AP2 bumper
-Fresh Berlina Black paint job (Not Maaco quality)
-JBL 608GTI II Components/Alpine MRF-300/Alpine 9886
-2 slight tears (3" long) patched towards the rear of the top
-FD2 CTR Shift Knob
-Espelir springs
-ACT Stage 2 clutch

All I can think of off the top of my head. I'm doing my best to make it show it doesn't have 100k on the chassis, so far its coming along pretty well. It might have some additional goodies by the time I sell it. Appreciate this guys. Just want to get a ball park idea of how much debt I'm gonna be putting myself in

from what i've seen most buyers aren't interested in a car with a replaced motor, FI, modified, plus torn soft top with high miles. In all honesty i think the question you should be asking is if someone would be looking for a car like that? You would probably make out better by selling all aftermarket mods and returning to stock. HOPE this helps

True, but these cars seem to have no problem hitting 200,000 miles, and a simple compression test would show good numbers. I have a reciept for the motor as well, don't know if thats worth anything.

if you fixed the top i would say high teens if you could find someone who wanted a turbo s. though will be better off selling your mods and presenting the car as stock. most people get scared off by a modded honda, and for goof reason. in stock form with a good top, i would expect that you could get at least 12k, maybe more if its really clean.

I was hoping to get around 14-15k for the car as its going to be. I'm bringing it to a collision center who does very good paint work and getting Berlina resprayed on the car. It was never in any accident, the previous owners just never took good care so it has scratches and scuffs and a handful of door dings. I was thinking about replaying the top down the road with a used one at some point, or gutting the soft top and putting a hard top in. I do agree though, alot of people are weary about buying modded cars, trust me I am because you never know if the work was done right or not.

You are literally high. No one is going to pay upper teens for a modded s2000 with 106K on the chassis, you can get a low mileage 06-07 for upper teens! Not to mention the market that his car would appeal to would be very small. OP, get it resprayed and patched up shoot for 14K but i'd take anything above 12K to be honest GLWS

EDIT: from all the swapping (motor carpet etc) plus the condition 106K miles, torn top, bad paint (a good paint job wouldn't be worth it), plus with the market (remember you're selling a 2 seater sports car) 10K might be more realistic.
I've seen 01-03 in great condition with 70K miles going for 10-12K

8 grand maybe.

You're looking at a pretty small market. Most people aren't looking for a car that's obviously been bagged on (FI), non-original motor, ripped top, non-original bumper, been re-sprayed, etc . Can you sweeten the deal by telling us it's been in accident?

As others said, put it back to stock and sell it that way. If you've been looking at prices of modded s2k's on here at all, you're lucky to get 25 cents on the dollar for the cost of your mods, and that's for a person who wants the mods. For the majority of people (myself included), they don't want even a lightly modded s2k (I/H/E), much less one with FI.
