You can go all motor with a stroker kit and head work. Its very expensive, but you should be able to get in the low 300hp area.
Boost is basically the easiest way to achieve 320hp easily and fast.

A cheap basemodel supercharger is junk, theres 2 in my area and I have beaten both of them with a few boltons, just turbo it for the same price and better reliablility.

so...you're telling me you beat out a 300whp car with your 225whp car? they can't drive.

I guess it depends on where you live, but in this area, if you want to be competative with the street racing croud, you need a sub-11 second car. IME you'd do better to pick a car that is better suited to your goals than the S2000.

LOL, I outran Tripper Cooks R33 Skyline GTR back when the only mod I had was a CAI. Driver and strategy can make all the difference.

300+ whp in a ~2800 lb car translate into a whole lot of speed.
Good luck with the purchase of the vehicle and saving up for the turbo/supercharger kit. I'm going to supercharge mine with the Kraftwerks High Boost Supercharger kit after my warranty expires.

i know there is many other cars out there that suit my needs much better then the s2000. But there are no other cars out there in my price range that look as good as this car. Like is this car just terrible for highway racing and drag racing? I remeber i was driving my dads chrysler 300c awd and it has exhaust and a tune and its a quick car ive beat many cars with it including trans am ws6,colbalt supercharged, mustang gt and corvettes, and the only car i lost to was a s2000 and holy shit did it ever launch and just go.
One of the things I like about the S2000 is that it's quick enough and fast enough to be satisfying, while having characteristics that discourage me from engaging in the stoplight grand prix. With OEM tires (S02's) I can get a good launch without frying the clutch or breaking anything, by dumping the clutch at 6k, and keeping the engine in VTEC until the tires get grip. It's not a great way to launch as far as winning goes, but it's easy on the car, and can produce 60' times close to two seconds (which isn't too bad, given that I'm making it easier on the car by spinning the tires). Thing is, doing a 6,000 RPM burnout at a redlight to beat some kid in a hopped up whatever, isn't worth it. Everyone within earshot is going to look, including the cops, and sitting there smoking the tires is just ASKING for trouble. Trying to make a quick launch without the tire spinning will either result in bogging, a leasurely ride to 6k, or lots of clutch slipping and a fried clutch, so when I'm tempted to try to race someone, on the street, from a stoplight, the car itself makes me reconsider. LOL, and for me, that's a good thing.
I get the biggest edge on more powerful cars by running from a roll, making them match my speed when I'm turning 6k in second gear. The pull from 6k to 9k in first is gone too quickly to be useful, which is why second gear is the best choice for this kind of foolishness (and I'll note that I've only been goaded into this kind of thing about three times since buying the S2000).
Now take the car to an autocross, and it is in its element. I also autocross on the OEM tires, and routinely beat Porsche GT3's on their OEM tires, and even manage to beat a few of the guys that are running racing rubber. The driver is a big factor in autocrossing, but the S2000 does an amazing job of holding up its end of the bargain. If you really like the S2000 and want to own one, autocross it, and go to some of the S2kI meets (for some fun canyon carving and dicing), and do some track days. Tell your buddies that if they think they're good, or that their cars are capable, to bring it to an event where it's safe and legal, and you'll be glad to show them up.

Trust me, autocrossing, track days, trips to the strip, and S2kI meets are even MORE fun than any street racing you'll ever do, it's safer, it's legal, and in the long run, a heck of a lot cheaper, in every way. Get the car and learn to drive it well, in the envoronments where it shines. That's really the best way to enjoy and S2000 (at least for those who like speed).
