What do you think?
Check out the numerous threads about 350Z vs. S. Most on this site will settle firmly on the side of the S, for pure driving and handling. If you want more low-end torque and more creature comforts, at the cost of pure driving fun, then go with the Infiniti. If you just love to drive and don't care about the Bose sound system, then stick with the S.
^^^ exactly what the papadoc said...
G37 is much more luxury oriented...g37 is a great looking car/more of a everyday driver..i have an acura cl type s that is comparable to the g37 or g35 and its great for when im daily driving but it is in no way the same as my S

I've been thinking of trading in my S but everytime I drove it I changed my mind :-).
To me, the G 37 looks so beautiful.
I came to a Infiniti dealership for a test drive and a sale rep gave me a trade-in value of my car for $13,300
Sighs

Just bought an S around 4 weeks ago myself & a friend bought a G37 just two weeks ago, so I have been lucky to have driven both.
Completely different cars IMHO, the S is a true sports car, the G37 is more of a Grand Tourer.
The G37 has a peach of an engine, decently appointed inside, decent handling and roadholding (not quite to S standards), one negative I found was the steering felt 'dead', not such a big deal as you are more likely to buy that car for long distance cruising versus blasting around twisty backroads or on a track.
The G37 I drove had the switchable sequential option, I found the sequential operation to be slow to the point where you would be as well off leaving in auto mode or sport. That said it was only a very short drive so the sequential operation may be better when you are pushing it harder.
Don't get me wrong, the G37 is a very competent all round car, just not as focused in some areas as the S.
I couldn't be happier with the S, but that's just me, I will happily give up creature comforts for good handling and roadholding.
Go and try the G37 yourself & see which suits your driving style best.

apples to oranges comparison. the s2000 is a true sports car, a roadster, and a car with a lot of fun factor. if you're reasoning behind a possible switch is for practicality, there are a several other cars i would consider before the g37.

thats what I think
