the only visual mods are upgraded bumper, lheadlights, and soft top. all of which are honda parts... then theres the clutch and flywheel, but i dont think that would hurt it.

 

I was told by a dealership trade-in apraiser that for a minor accident repair and paintwork (in your case the repaint) to expect 3,000 off the normal value they would offer. Privare party it probably would not be as bad, unless the buyer was finatic. Realistically though I would say as the years go by most of the real early model S2k's have probably had at least a minor fender bender.

Man, you guys are too generous with your "appraisals". I hate to pull the eBay/AutoTrader card, but lower mileage accident free 2K S2Ks are going for $15-16K.

I would put 20 on the window and let them talk u down from there. It's all up to the buyer of the car as to whats it is worth. Don't low ball it try to get as much as you can remember you have a lot of money in to it. All though people say that mods Don't help but it does to the right person.
