I've seen this car in my neighborhood...it looks really really nice up close.

What do you think?

Very nice! But I personally think the clear lights are better looking on a Black S2000. It stood out.

Hey Tommy,
You're getting a 2002 model? In addition to your TL?

I'm not thrilled about the "look at the bulb sticking out" clear corner mod... The lense is there for a purpose

WOW, it looks the best on silver... I LOVE THE CLEARCORNER MOD ON THE TL AS WELL.
hey, are those cleared corners running on hyperwhite lights, or is the bulb inside just plane white but w/the amber lens it flashes amber?
i know on the TL, we have an orange reflector, but the bulb is WHITE/CLEAR.
hey socal,
NO, UNFORTUNATELY, i have to part from the TL...
i'm still wondering if it's worth it... TL for s2k???????

Tommy,

I have just plain (illegal) stock white bulbs inside... Notice the body-color housing inserts inside? It looks even better in person...

One of our members in So Cal actually got the JDM lights for his car and the clear lense makes a big difference on the way the car looks. If you just take out the amber lense, there is no clear lense, like in the JDM version.

But didn't someone previously established that the JDM lights (and I'd assume the European clear lights as well) would not fit the US/Canada versions of the S2000 without a LOT of modifications and work? So are you saying that it is possible to fit the JDM lights in a US version of the car without an arm and a leg?

Here is one of the threads:

Please post more details.

I'm pretty sure the JDM fits the US car. I think the only problem would be the aiming the lights correctly. I can't remember the screenname of the person that got it done, but I know his real name. I know that he had the JDM ones installed since his front end was damaged and had to be redone. Maybe that's why they were so easy to install. Not sure though.

I'll ask bac-cracker what his screen name is and maybe he can chime in.
