If you read your manual, this setting is for heat when the top is down. It redirects air from the dash vents to the two smaller vents above your radio door.

So buy one. http://helminc.com/

But before you do, have you looked in the secret compartment and the storage area by the jack in the trunk?

Yezzir, and I looked pretty dumb when the salesman told me the car didnt come with one, and I got all confident knowing it was in the secret compartment. And its not there, and the salesman was like uhhh yeah we checked there already...

Ill probably get one soon I was just curious.

It is a top down setting. I moves heat / AC out of both pasenger and diver footwells, the passenger vent, the two vents next to the shifter above the headunit, and the drivers left side vent.

I would assume Honda thinks your driving posistion is left hand on wheel, right hand on shifter, which is a bad practice. Both hands should be on the wheel.

I find the setting useless, I would rather have the setting on half hands / half feet.

Mine stays on the setting...I love it.

BTW, you do have to shift sometimes and its nice to have that heat/AC there on the shift knob.
