Exactly right.

I have one on my S2000 with a Honda dealer added alarm. I owned my car for two years before I knew it was there.

Well its for the factory alarm then. Its the valet switch. Try this.....make the alarm go off and dont disarm it with the remote....instead go inside and turn the key on and press the button. Should stop the alarm from sounding.

when i was vaccuming i saw it, and i never saw it before so i thought it was a dream.............so i ran out to my car and checked it and it was there...........thanks fellow s2k'ers....

I thought it was a clock stopper switch
If i found one of those on a used car, i would hire Johnnie Cochrane. Hopefully it is just for the valet mode.
