FRP really is just a large scale name. there are so many different variations. it all depends on the company you are talking about. for example. if you are comparing the FRP of say cwest, airwalker,mugen ect to say a knock off brand like items sold at extreme dimension or those ma ads for universial hood and roof scoops and fenders and such, there will be a huge difference in construction and quality. the bigger names are always going to have a better product. each company mixes there products differently also. for example my garage defend rear bumper was made of FRP. looked whitish to color you could see a lot of the fiber material in the bumper. very solid not much flex in it at all. still good quality. but compaired to my airwalker side skirts in which they use a material similar to cwest's Pfrp in which they mix normal fiberglass with poly urythan material together. making the item black in color. and much more flexable being able to take more abuse and also being a lot lighter then a normal item made of frp. there are a lot of factors to look into when choosing the parts and what it is made by. hope this helps
