I chose the 3.0L V6 but I wouldn't want that exact setup... I was thinking more along the lines of...

2.5L I-6 with the 280 hp so that the RPM could possibly be bumped up to around 8000 RPM.

But of course... the F22C is doing me wonders and I love it. I only feel a little iffy on those damn humid, hot days... but what engine loves that?

I voted for the biggest one (since we are HP pigs here in America), but I would choose an LS7!!!!!! 427 baby!

I was hoping to see the NSX motor in that lineup...that would have gotten my vote...

Otherwise, I'll stick with my 9k redline, there's nothing like it in the world

no It wouldn't. porsche, audi, BMW make f6, v8, v10s that bust the 8000rpm barrier. Nothing short of a 4.0 V8 with 8500 rpm redline, making 450hp at 8000 would satisfy me

In fact, Mercedes already has that, maybe other manufactuters also... Here is an extract... " The CL600 goes further with a new 6.0-liter V12 rated at 363 hp. It has a seamless automatic cylinder cut-off controller that can save 20 percent on fuel by paring back to half the number of cylinders fired when less demand is placed on the throttle"

I like the F20c best from those options, but I would have picked your turbo choice if it revved a little higher.
