Mugen!

The lightest S2000 dual exhaust that I know of. Since you aren't going to get any significant power increase out of any exhaust for the S2000, you might as well increase the power to weight ratio!

My Mugen exhaust should be here in 2 weeks.

The Tanabe Racing Medalion weighed 13-lbs less than the stock system (at least on my dig scales) so it's a nice set-up as far as weight savings go. It has dyno'd 9hp over the stock system from 7-9K and with the silencers on, 2-3hp under 6K. No gain with the silencers up top but no loss either. The sound is low and loud...booming at times, but at VTEC, it will turn heads (not to mention ears). This isn't nearly as loud as the single canister Amuse titanium exhaust (I believe that was like, 125db's). I've had police across from me on the roads while I was accelerating and got nothing but a thumbs up. You can get these NOS (new old stock) for about $650. The "look" of the exhaust is very aggressive and does sort of transform the car from a "classy" stance to more of an "in your face" look. Not for everyone but I get compliments on these "twin guns" quite often which sort of surprises me because most S2000 owners don't really like this style of exit pipe. FWIW, the Mugen system (which is what I was going to get...hence the left over license plate frame) has twin titanium canisters with the rest stainless steel and weighs about 25-lbs less than stock. It's also priced about $1500 though you might be able to get a much better deal on it thru one of our sponsors. I think I might go with titanium canisters this summer just for another 12-15-lbs off of this Tanabe but we'll see.

Here's the Mugen:

i just ordered the Apexi WS (World Sport). i chose the exhaust, cause it's really quiet, and it's only $675. i had it on my last car (hybrid civic) and i loved it. really nice quality, and don't forget, bang for the buck!!!

GSRacer, you aren't wasting any time fixing up your new S2000. I haven't even got my wind deflector yet.

Spoon N1! I got it on a few days ago and i love it. The tip kinda hides in the bumper, and it makes a very deep sound around 3-4k rpm. It screams and the engine takes over after 6k.
