Default What headers and exhaust do I have?

I picked up the car recently and it has "upgraded exhaust and headers". I can't figure out what kind they are. I don't know what a stock header looks like and I can't find a plate or name or even a number on the exhaust.

The exhaust is a single exit that slightly slants to the right at the muffler. It is very deep and loud with a heavy drone at around 3-5k. However, at VTEC, it sounds amazing!

the pics are on this forum. http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1151853

The header kind of looks like the stock one with the main heatshield removed?

Most headers don't have brackets for the heatshields

I don't know anything about the exhaust.

Yeah, that is a stock header alright, and it is missing the top heatshield. Our new header has brackets for the stock heatshields, and the Mugen has a heatshield of it's own. But that is it for headers and heatshields.

Exhuast, I have never seen that one.

I pulled the heatshield off for the pics so I guess if aftermarket headers don't come with the heatshield mounts then I answered my own question. As far as the exhaust, I'm stumped.

The exhaust looks custom made. Not like anything you can buy off the shelf. It looks like the previous owner just took a universal muffler and pre-silencer to a muffler shop and had them fab up some piping.

Well that settles it. I'm going with a good trusted exhaust for the car now. Think I'll go for Fujitsubo. Any advice on headers? Do they make a difference? The stock ones look pretty damn free flowin to me.

Thanks for all the help so far!
