Default What the heck?

I just bought my S about 2 weeks ago, and today was the first day that I got to really wash it myself.

I've been working overtime quite a lot, and didn't really have much time to appreciate the car, so today was going to be nice.

Well, the disadvantage with buying used is that there are little nicks, and even a tiny dent. Oh well, at least I got a good price.

But here's the kicker. The passenger side rearview mirror is silverstone.. but the rest of the car is sebring. How could I have missed that? I suppose it wouldn't look that bad if the other mirror was also silverstone... but it's not.

I ran a carfax report on the car and it was completely clean.

Anyone know how much it is to replace/paint a side mirror?

What did you pay for the car, and what was the mileage?

It's a MY02 with 5900 miles when I bought it.

I paid $22,500.

I work for a lender.

I bought it from a dealer that does business with us.

If you're looking for a new car, try this out. http://caccars.com/

This is not where I got my car, but if you're looking to buy NEW then these people can help. I know the owner. He's a good guy, and that's pretty hard to find in the car biz.

Obviously the previous owner damaged it somehow and got it replaced.

That is a real good price though.

Just repaint it.. no biggie

Yeah... no biggie. I'm still happy with the purchase.

But geez... you'd think that he would have replaced it with the right color.

Hell I'd do the same if I needed to paint my mirror. He just wanted a little taste of the far superior silver
