Default What the Hell?? Prompt service from a dealer??

I didn't think it was possible but I was shocked to get a call today at 2PM from the dealer saying my car was ready for pickup. They did my clutch and flywheel in 24hrs! I'm still in a state of shock but not complaining. The last time they opened my tranny it took almost a week to get it back sans nuts on the engine mount studs. I hate being a guiney pig but at least my mechanic learns quickly.

Woohoo!!!

Congrats...my only suggestion would be to find out who the service managers boss is at let him know personally how you feel. On average persons who are dissatified tell 8 people. People who are satisfied tell but 1. Perhaps if you make that 1 the persons boss he can progress at the dealership and help other vehicle owners.....

Utah made a good point, we all need a pat on the back now and again.

Well I try to be fair, if they screw up I'll scream about it but equally so if they exceed my expectations I will offer cudos. As for the result, I am equally pleased!

For those that don't know I had a leaking seal on my transmission which contaminated my clutch. They also offered to install a flywheel and aftermarket clutch if I so desired at the same time free of charge. Well I didn't have the money for a new clutch and since they were going to install a new disk anyway I just went with that. I did have a Toda flywheel (purchased from R&D) installed since the free labor offer was too good to pass up. The results are so far fantastic! Only a few miles on it so it's still too soon to tell what will happen. The flywheel is impressive. Revs are really responsive, much more so than I thought. It feels faster to 9K than it did before. The clutch is excellent, no noise at all and very grippy. I really need to adjust to the new clutch, I am spinning my tires at every stop.
