Default What the HELL is the windshield tape?!

Sorry guys, probably a stupid post but i've done a search, and i've looked at comparisons in pictures, and i still can't tell what the hell the windshield tape is. People always removing them etc, i can't tell the difference, i dunno where its located, i guess i'm blind. Can somebody like CIRCLE it on a picture so i can see or point it out specifically or somethin please? Sorry for the stupidity of this post =-P

The frame around the windshield (sides and top) is black. Except for the black cars, this is black tape. Once removed (peeled off), the frame is the same color as the rest of the car. Try a search using "windshield" or "tape" or both and you'll find some pics.
Check this:

You'll notice on one of the yellow cars that the frame is yellow and the rest are black. The yellow frame is with the tape removed.

IMO the car looks much better with the dark windshield frame (tape there), since it lowers the body line visually. But, different strokes for different folks --

That answer would be No! How can I state this for sure you ask? Easy since none of the black S2000s come with windshield tape. It's only found on the other colors. So maybe Honda's designers agreed with you guys about the looks of the car being improved with the tape.
