Yea, that is a GruppeM intake. I had one on my E46 and it sounded INSANE. Really, it was the best sounding aftermarket intake I have ever heard still to this day. Unfortunately, I don't think that this intake has the same effect on the S2K application, combined with the several thousand dollar price tag doesn't make it very desirable IMO.

Looks great, but being more than most other intakes one would hope it offers a significant benefit. However, given that it takes in air out of the engine bay (from practically the same place as stock it appears) I'd say this intake is at a disadvantage to other aftermarket intakes.

Definitely GruppeM. That is my buddy Bill's (BNB) car. Notice the camo arrow shaft for the coolant line? I was there the night he did it.

I think I still might be able to get that intake. Anyone who is SERIOUS (lots of cash in hand), PM me.

i have no degree in engineering or anything like that but i cant see how that design can help, the "dual boobie" deisgn seems like it would just hurt flow, the secondary expansion chamber might add power but the first one tapers into the second one which imo would cut flow. am i correct? let me know.
