K&N FIPK... Perfect intake no chance of hydrolock, makes decent power and sounds great

I picked it up on ebay for about $250

I bought a Comptech because:

--It's CARB legal (I'm in Cali...)

--It's (WAS) reasonably priced at $340-ish; I can't justify spending $1k for a bling intake that gives +1-5 horsepower over mine

--It does NOT fear hydrolock

--It does have some CF bling-tastic flavor

--My version does NOT need to use hood dampers nor require cutting (The CF is molded differently than all the other ones I've seen...I'll post a pic when I get a chance.). The hood prop is perfectly stock and works as stock.

--Unfortunately, you can only get one used at this point unless you stumble upon someone with one stashed away somewhere. I received mine through NOPI's GB after a 6 month wait...it was eventually drop shipped from Comptech a few months before they went under.
