Hello guys,
I used to be an owner (November 2000 - February 2004), until I traded for an Acura. Now, having missed the performance so much, I'm in the market for a new S2000 again. I have two major concerns about the new version of the car.

1. I do not like the OEM lip offered for the car...my old one had the lip and I'd have had it no other way. What kind of options do I have as far as getting that same style with the new car?

2. Are the tires more expensive now that they're 17 inches? I guess in theory they'd last a tad longer too, unless the outer circumference is still the same. I have to admit I've spent less time on the forum in the last year.

I'm not too concerned about the redline thing, I'll be cool with that.

Mugen, OEM, or maybe CF OEM

 

Anyone else? I don't like the OEM lip like I did the Pre-04...is there an aftermarket company that makes one similar?

You can still just get a new bumper. Those lips sometimes cost almost as much as one.
My favorite is the Amuse R1 bumper. Looks great with the car. One day it shall be mine!

I don't llike how far up it goes toward the outside edges of the car. There's also a very prominent line that I hate.
