Default What kind of lug nuts for Superlegerras?

OK, I asked this in the wheel forum, but didnt get much or a rely. I just bought some Superlegerras, that havent gotten here yet. I want to buy the nuts and locks for them. I need to know if they are of a different style than OEM, or do I just get OE replacements in say black and a set of OE style McGard locks. I have been told there are differences like concave nuts and stuff. Also, where is a good place to order them. Thanks

Jeff

Why not get some lightweight Kyokugen lug nuts? They are available in black (get the 1.5 for the Honda), are lighter than stock, include a key, and are 7 sided (for security).

Ok, thanks. I looked them up and they seem nice. My only question is that they have the rounded contact edge with the wheel. There are flat ones and rounded ones, right? Will the rounded ones work with the Superlegerras or do I need the flat? thanks

Here's my take on it.
You want the flat. Mostly the factory wheels use the factory lugs with the rounded seat.
The package says to torque to 85 lbs and honda says 80. The 7 sided tool will give out with a little more than that. I've gone with 80 and kept a routine of checking the torque every couple of weeks. At first there were two that loosened up but none since.
Many (too many to count, maybe 15) people I know have destroyed the 7 sided socket. Some have gone thru 3 or 4 of them. Be easy on it.

I use McGard lugs and locks. They offer a black finish.
