Check engine light ON, please

A car runs with more HP in the cold because the air is more dense and you can mix more fuel with it. Telling the engine the air is dense when it isn't will only make the engine run richer for a second or two until the Oxygen sensor says whoa...

speaking of...

believe it or not... at the sema show last week, even Tornado had a booth, you know that wonderful infomercial thingie? Not too large of a booth but a table on either side with ... well, not their product but two sprite bottles attatched to each other at the openings - with water funnelling down - you know, like a tornado? get it? that means your car is faster. *shakes head*

The mod they are selling is a 4.7k OHM resistor from Radio shack which causes the ECU to think you are pulling in ~60 degree air always.

Its a hack, its a joke... and it ain't gunna get u 15-20hp.

I have some swamp-land I'de sell you...

Anyone with even a smidge of common sense regarding, the way a car runs..... would realize that a mod like that over time, could seriously damage other sensors and emissions by making the car run too rich and clogging up egr valve etc.....
