I should have thought ahead and done that, but didn't was to excited and enjoyed it to much to have remembered lol. But order was placed and should be here soon.
Congrats on the car hope it's everything you wanted it to be. Make sure to check the top frame to see if the tsb has been done. Also register the car with honda's owner link page. O and check for spring spacer

Any advice at all on Salvage Cars/Rebuildt titles? Ive seen a few s2000's that Ive liked that seem to have been rescued or recovered from insurance companies/salvage auctions . So far I have been avoiding thoose but as I continue to shop they keep on comming up sometimes the owners dont bring it up till your at there house looking at the car . I'd like to know if there are any pitfalls as most of the 14k and under S2000's Ive come across have this issue .
Other than that this is a awsome thread and the advice has been great

I wouldn't buy a salvage car unless it was priced at about 50% of KBB. The only exception to that rule is if you found a well documented seat theft salvage (cut top and stolen seats can total an S2000), and then I might pay 60% of KBB. It can be very difficult to resell a salvage car.
It's a good idea to pay for Autocheck or Carfax and run the VIN before taking the time to look at a car.
Take your time, you can find a great low miles AP1 for $14k. The more patient you are the better car you will find.

Thanks! I've never purchased a used car before and this list will be very helpful in my search. Been checking out Craigslist up and down the West Coast hoping to find a good deal on an 04+.
