Default What is this missing part?

Hi all, I have a 2008 S2000, all stock. I opened the hood today to clean the engine and noticed a missing part at the top of the engine. Anybody got an idea what should be attached? I don’t have a CEL or any noticeable problems with the car.

Mystery bolt hole for sure. Nothing there on any of our cars but no one has explained why. I think we all asked this question.

Okay, that's good news, thank you! Of note, the Wikipedia page has a picture of the F22C1 and there is something there...

There's AP2 engines and there's DBW AP2 engines. Whatever is there in the picture ain't there on the DBW cars. Note all the extra hoses in the Wiki photo that aren't on a DBW car either.

That picture is from a 2004-2005 F22, cam sensor location on pre-DBW cars. You are good to go.

I find it all the more reason to keep things looking nice. I've long had the impression that most S2000 owners tend to keep their engine and their engine bay nice and clean.
