Default What modifications do you recommend?

Thinking of buying an s2000. Sales-guy knew sh*t all about the car, so this forum proved to be quite handy already. Some good stuff here.

What I would like to know is whether there are some modifications that you recommend any owner to do instantly (e.g. change air-box, adjust suspension, change exhaust ......)

Not interested in any appearance-mods. I want a drivers-car, not a showmobile.

Any suggestions?

Thanx,
Buzz

Instantly...not a thing. There's not some must do performance mod to change the characteristics of an NA S2000. You'll be happy with the car from the get-go. Once you've driven it for 6+ months you can reassess what you think about all of the car's features and go from there.

Just drive the car alot and have fun...that's what I recommend.

the s2k is pretty tricky to drive(especially if this is your FR car) even when its stock. first master driving a stock s2k, then get the mods you want. that is what im doing. everyday i learn something new about the car, like proper shift points, how the car handles with thorttle/no throttle, etc....

the beauty of this car is that it comes to you with everythign it needs, unlike rx-7 reliability mods are not needed.

it comes preassembled out the box, just open it up and you can play with it
