Speed by itself is not a problem.......Speed is a contributor, when coupled with driver error can multiply the severity of the results dramatically. Driver error usually accounts for 95% of accidents while the other 5% is due to road conditions, mechanical failure,etc. and a previous poster stated. The S2000 is not a car for amateurs! Take the time to familiarize yourself with its handling characteristics and its flaws. The S is an awesome car as long as you keep it within its safe "envelope"..................1 inch outside that envelope, and it will feel like a 200lb pit bull took a chunk out of your butt cheeks
