My husband introduced me to this board, and it seems everyone is obsessed with the next "hottest" upgrade. At what point does this go "over the top" and become ricing?
The car looks classy and it rides great. What more do you want?

The VTECing had me holding on FOR DEAR LIFE!!

STICKERS of things you dont have . . .

Ummm errr BIG wings for going to the grocery store . . .

Actually my S2k looks stock from the outside, except exaust but the rest you would never know, Maybe it's testosterone (sp?) based, one upmanship that is. Or in other cases trying to make it better when great isnt great enough?

Does this mean you see yourself as being too tall?

Forgot to mention...the rice chicks go wild for this....no foreplay required..which is why they are installed.

Green means I'm available.....Red means...well you know....just don't tap on the glass.

Well, that was fun.

The real exNSX here, proud S2000 owner and former NSX owner. Had to show the little lady our board last night and she gave me the typical outsiders view that we are all way to crazy about our cars. So I let her start the thread for fun. Maybe she's not a complete outsider, she drives a CRV and we had our courtship during my NSX era (was it me or the car?).

We browsed many threads here. She had never even heard the term 'Rice' before and found it amusing. She also gave thumbs up and down on the various available mods (sorry Rick, but I may not be getting your badges). She appreciated it all, mostly because she got a little more insight into her hubby.

That's a Nissan Gloria, with a very good turbocharged engine and RWD. Too bad he made it out like that

But then again, knowing their culture pretty growing up, it's not surprising to me that a lot of things we consider "rice" is something they would be proud of.

Mrs. exNSX: I agree. In fact the car is too intense and too fast for me most of the time. In terms of appearance, it gets too much attention as it is.
Mr. NSX: Is NSX more "fun" to drive?

Sharp looking car from outside. The owner showed good taste until he got to the interior. Never seen anything like that.
