The reason I didnt get white was because of the Tan interior. I recently purchased a black on black and I was seeking the white with red, Oh well I still love it.

actually white is the least effective at showing off the S2000's lines. The cars with the metallic paint like both silver's, and suzuka show off the lines the best.
As for no one wanting the GPW..........lmao. That is all your opinion. White is the Honda racing color, long live GPW!

I read on this site once that in the USA, out of all the S2000's that were made, 6% are white and 8% are suzuka.
I believe that yellow and silver were on the top of the list but I don't remember all of the percentages.

These are the numbers I have from the spring. White is rarest (of the colors available).

Some folks have mentioned green, MC blue, pink... These colors are not available in North America (and pink isn't a factory color, to my knowledge). FYI, the lime green and scarlet red colors are special to the JDM market (I think).

As of August 2002.

35% Silverstone Metallic
18% Black
13% NF Red
10% Sebring Silver
10% Spa Yellow
08% Suzuka Blue
06% GP White

Right Jimbo. You had your numbers correct...

This list is clearly North America only (possibly AHM-only), since MC blue and the special JP colors (Orange, Red Pearl, and Green) aren't on it.

It is rather astonishing that the white volume is so low since it was available all along (right??). Silverstone was eliminated MY'02 but returned in '03. Sebring and Suzuka were spun out in MY'02 (but not before).

The silverstone numbers clearly show what the favorite is. Perhaps that was all that was available to many in MY'00/'01 (no slight intended; I love silverstone).

GP white is the only colour I haven't seen in person, but that could just be coincidence..

In my town, I would have to say red is the rarest color. I would have gone white, but this guy drives it around town almost everyday.. so i'll stick with red.

I still say Green. I've NEVER seen one. I've seen every other color. You do have to differentiate which color you are talking about too because it differs by this.

In the US the rarest color is probably Monte Carlo Blue or the Pearl White. Both of which are factory colors that owners had their cars repainted as. The rarest factory color that can be purchaced overall is probably suzuka blue.

I'd love to see the Japanese stats where they have many more choices.
