This ^^

Secondly you shouldn't have to ask what to put in your car. Get the seat time and do some research and look at the gallerys on here to see what you like. Modding a car without having the least bit of a vision in mind of what you want it to look and perform like is an endless money pit.

Don't get wrapped up in buying all the cheap mods first and letting the rest of the car go unnoticed. Not only will you get discouraged with the end result because you weren't being as patient as you could have been, but you might also find yourself replacing those very parts with other parts that you find to be much better performing and looking. Take it from somebody who has been there before, Having that vision changed my outlook on modding cars and it was the best advice anyone has ever given to me.

I sold that car shortly after and picked up my S2k so I can start all over.

For God's sake get some exhaust if you have a TP on the stocker, that sounds so bad.

track time > the cumulative sum of all possible mods. (ie: driver mod > *)

The best thing you can do is use the money to mod yourself

If you have to ask then you need to track it. You'll know once you get improve your skill enough and you've determined that you want to change something based on actual experience. Few drivers can really push the S even in its stock form. Just keep in mind that there are no cheap gains. However, the most effective gain is track time.

I guess it's up to each individual but it doesn't impress anyone when you obviously can't properly drive your heavily modded car which has happened countless times on many drives that I've been on. People love to focus on the shiny new toys and always seem to overlook putting the time and effort into improving skill.
