guys i rather get the K&N just because its easier to install and i don't have to worry about water getting into my motor, but then again i'll take that risk if the v2 really sounds that much better then the K&N. whats your advice?

 

From outside the car they both sound very much alike. Inside the car I'd say the K&N is a little bit louder then the AEM but they both sound mean. If your going on sound and then adding in what you said about ease of install and the water risk I'd just go for the K&N. Its what I have and I love it

I have the K&N and it sounds great, it goes along good with thr AUT cooling plate also.

 

I have a K&N and it sounds like a dinosaur under my hood (not Barney)!

 

Can't comment on the AEM i have the K&N, like it. looks good!
