Default What Springs do you guys recommend?

I just bout some Mille Miglia FX 18's and wanted to know what you guys recommened for lowering the car with?

Other than price what is the big deal about coilovers? are they THAT much better than springs? I dont' care about adjusting the height of the way..I like that slammed look, but I also want it to look classy and not be bottoming out everywhere? any suggestions?? thanks guys!

is 1 inch all around enough of a drop on 18's though? I saw some skunk2's on ebay with a 2" drop...what is that too much!?!? skunk2's any good?

I recommend the SEARCH springs. They'll help you a lot!

coil overs are also better in that they are meant to be lowered because they have the appropiate shocks with them. If you put your springs on stock shocks be forewarned that you will be replacing them within somewhere from 10,000-15,000 of usage which I have seen is about average. Some people will get more, but the springs will quicken the wear and tear on them. Get a set of Konis if you get springs to fix this problem.

Unless you have the tools and can DIY, otherwise it is quite labor intensive to just replace the springs.

Buy a set of tein coilover(btw, I love mine), it is much easier to replace the whole thing.

I'm happy with my RS*R Ti2000 springs. Nice drop, very level, and not bouncy at all...1.2 rear and 0.8 front.
