I know that a lot of people on this board have spent some time under the dash wiring various accessories. Yet I have never seen a reference to this matter. Mounted on top of the steering column above the driver's feet is a hollow black plastic thing with holes in it. It resembles a big hunk of black swiss cheese. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it's function is and my curiosity is killing me. Does anybody know what it does or what it's there for? Maybe it's a hyperthermal forensic pemambulator!
