What do you call a 1968 Camaro to a 2007 S2000?

Prelude SH --> S2K --> S2K here

Would love to own an NSX-R some day though!

Depends on what you eventually trade the S2000 for...

Think in your heart of hearts and complete this sentence:
"I wish the S2000 had more....."
"I wish the S2000 could do....."

Then answer.

Hardcore Lightweight Handling/Baller Pimp Track for the weekend
&
Luxury Sport as a DD

Lightness & Pimp Track is right down my alley if I could afford it. It's nice that it's a status symbol, but I'd want to properly wring every last ounce at the track.

Luxury Sport would be my DD. Unassuming -- although Baller Pimp Sport could also be in the cars for this one

Nice poll. Interesting to see everyone's path.

No no.

This isn't, "which of these cars would you like for the track, street, etc."
Of course everyone would take an Exige / GT3 for the track, RS4 for snow, R8 for cruising with the +1. But unless you can afford them all at once, that's not the question.

The question is: "which of these patterns do you fall into"

What car did you come from and what car would replace it. It being the S2000.

I went Integra --> Miata --> S2000 and look to be a mix of a few categories.

I'd like to think I'm an aspiring "Baller Pimp Track" though autocross will have to do for now.

From "Hardcore Lightweight Handling" I definitely agree with the '"Feel" is as or more important than "speed"' idea, but not so much about the elements (won't likely buy an Atom...)

It might appear that I fall into the Diehard Roadster Enthusiast camp, and I do in the context of 'the S2000 won't be replaced until the wheels fall off as each owner has a "relationship" with their cars.' However, I don't really have any particular affinity for roadsters. There just aren't that many 2-seat coupes out there for reasonable dollars. I'd buy a Cayman over a Boxster all day long, and had a chance to purchase a low mileage Boxster for less than I paid for the S2K, but went for "feel" and my sense of performance over "prestige."

Anyone see the current issue of Car magazine's ultimate sports car test? Surprising victory for the R8. Not saying it's what would be "next" but it is appealing.

Phil

i am a jdm tuner right now.. only because i can only afford civics before.. i had 4 EG's before my S

i think i would fall in the sport luxury in the far future.. when i can afford them...

so where does the "i'll keep my S forever coz i love it too much" fall into??
