You know, I never took the time to notice, but the JDM version still has that big transmission lump on the right side. I bet that must get in the way of alot of feet and legs over there.
BTW, anyone know how to get a type V steering wheel?

Transmission lump? You mean where the catalytic converter goes? I've ridden as a passenger in S2000s many times, and I've even driven a RHD Type V - I've never noticed it being an issue. I'm mostly under the seat, after all.
Regarding the wheel, even if you get one you'll not be able to use it. It mounts entirely differently from the non-VGS models.

^ There was a thread not so long ago that said the VGS wheel is only for RHD cars, in other words NOT FOR US
There was a guy that installed one but with severe adaptations and work. I wish we can get that wheel.

Too bad about the wheel. That looks pretty sweet. I wonder if there is a way just to get the grip part to fit and add on our center or whatever might make it easier. Anyway, not something I'd care to try if it wasn't a direct bolt on.
