Default What would you do?

ok, here is the lowdown...

i was gonna buy a 2003 S2000 white/tan, 7K original miles for $22K. the car is located in phoenix, and im in so cal. i had already booked the flight in two days to fly and pick it up and drive back (refundable airfare). find out that through carfax, its been hit in an accident. NO salvage, fire, rebuilt and etc... title. however, pics of the car looks EXTREMELY clean, showroom condition.

ive decided NOT to buy.

what would some of you guys do in this circumstance, would anyone still buy??? Don't you hate it when people arent completely honest with you, especially serious buyers flying in from another state?

just curious...since i NEVER let my emotions get the best of me over such a huge purchase.

No buy. Similar experience, good thing is that it's local here in SoCal.
I would rather have the owner actually tell me the truth rather than cover it up but well, it might also be the case that the owner doesn't even know about it (if the owner is 2nd owner, which is in my case. If the owner is 1st owner, definitely no buy)

RUN! If you lived in the same place as where the car is, you could at least have it fully inspected before you even make a decision to buy. Even then, I'd NOT take that chance.

Can you find out what the actual damage was? I could be just a bumper cover, or it could be every panel on the car...

Pass. You can find a clean one. If its the original owner and he hid that from you then who knows what other problems it might have.

Don't buy. For that price you can find one in the same area. Besides winter is coming and school has started, I'm sure there are a lot to be found soon enough.
