Default what would you modify first?

i am about to buyout my lease, and am thinking of making some changes to my car. i didn't think it was worthwhile on a leased car, and i wasn't sure i was going to buy this one.

so my question is this: for a novice who thinks the performance of an s2000 is excellent, what mods are a good place to start. i need new tires. i'd like to get a better stereo.

what do ya think ?

if it's time for some tires, then why not get some nice aftermarket wheels as well.

I guess that all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. You can spend anything from $500 dollars to $3000 dollars. personally I would get a light 17" rim like volk or other quality Japanese brands. But thats just my .02

Forget wheels, spend it all on a good stereo, then go from there.

Get a countersunk knob (i.e. voodoo from Ricks). Excellent bang for the buck.

Well, you're about due for new shocks , so I would say get a set of coil overs and drop the 'S' about a inch all around. The 'S' dropped is just plain sexy!
Then I would go for a front lip. The '04 OEM lip is sweet, the '00>03' OEM lip is boring, of course you'll need the '04 front bumper for THE lip.
Another worthwhile mod would be '04 lighting front & back.
How about a new top with REAL glass for the rear view.

OR . . . . . if your S is worth more than the buyout - trade that sucker in on a '04 and have it all
