I'd probably pay 17k for it. It's clean as hell and looks awesome imo. Though that is what I consider high mileage (my car is a MY00 and has 43k on the chassis, 2k on the built motor) but the tasteful mods and how beautiful the car is are just enough to make me overlook that. I'd end up sending the motor out to get built at some point anyway so the mileage isnt a huge issue for me personally

It's a Honda, the motor will last forever if you take care of it right. I'd say 16 b/c of the hardtop, very rare to find a Spa hardtop nowadays.

Holy Crap! S's must be cheaper out west. This is one of the cars I went and looked at before I bought my 02.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...ag=1&cardist=61

This car has a badly cracked back window (probably 6-7"). I went around a sweeping right hand turn and never touched the steering wheel. I found soap residue on the inside of the car at the convertible seal where it had been though an auto car wash. It didn't have the convertible boot cover. I could go on and on! All this for the bargin price 18,995!!! With prices so low they said they'd even work with me on the price!!! This one was the worst examples, but around here dealerships want an arm and a leg for these things. I lucked up and found a lawyer wanting to sell his wifes cause she got a new convertible benz. I was so glad when the whole shopping part was over! Now its 24/7!

That lip isnt molded, its glued. Molded means you cant tell where one part ends, and another begins.

What was the original color? Was it done correctly (engine bay/ Doors/ trunk etc?)? That color was not available in 2000. 2001 was the first of the Spas

yea 1 yr will change the price, but dood it really doesn't matter what people say they will pay for it. It is up to you, and how much you can talk the guy down. He might be totally firm, he might not be, you have to go feel it out while talking to him in person
