Ok everyone, I don't recall seeing this type of thread yet so here goes....

Does your car have a name? If so, what is it? and why did you name it that? I personally have not named mine.

Stick your head under the drivers side....or look at a schematic and you'll know how she came to be........

Her name is Gloria. I kept on noticing how Glorious she was and thought, "How perfect, I'll name her Gloria". Plus there's a couple songs out with her name in it.

Charlotte... in my discussions with Greg about his car versus mine, I decided mine should have a name since Scarlet has hers, so Charlotte it was...

I named her......Sinister

one look of this black beauty from the front, and as you gaze into her eyes, can think of a better word to describe her thoughtful almost mean-looking expression?

My baby is Melissa. My favorite Allman Brother's tune. She really is Melissa to me. I can't go anywhere without her.

I currently have two guitars, two basses - only one of them, I call my wife - because she's gorgeous and will always be with me. But I've never named a guitar, nor any car that I've ever owned.

As I can fully understand others - personally, I cannot become that attached to name a car, and personify it.

Geronimo (licensee is GRR@NMO - with the @ symbol representing a round college crest)...have you seen "Conspiracy Theory" with Mel Gibson & Julia Roberts? he describes love as something that should be "GERONIMO!"

=)

Like many others here, if I refer to my car by a name, it is "The Stook."

For newbies, that is a phonetic pronunciation of "S2k."
