Default what you still drop your car?

would you still drop your car if it had nothing to do with appearance?
or if you dont track your car?

I think the stock suspension is great and dropping the car usually makes the car drive much more harsh?

what do you think?

Depending on the suspension you get the ride can feel exactly the same as stock but improve handling

Doesn't dropping the car raise the relative center of gravity?

When I lowered my car, it was strictly for looks. I'm still a firm believer that lowering springs make the car handle worse, even after a good alignment.

Coilovers are definitely the way to go.

I lower every car I own (usually the first mod). I HATE wheel gap .

Depending on the car, its handling abilities, and my goals for the car are the things I use to decide what route to go.

With the S its at a very high level so I went with coil-overs, if it was a civic I would be more inclined to get Springs and shocks instead.

I lowered my car primarily for looks. Although I don't think it handles any better or worse than when it was stock. That was almost 5 years ago though so maybe I just don't remember.

Mine was lowered in Espelir ASD's just for looks, now that I am living in an area with quite a few tracks, I will be upgrading to coilovers soon.

I replaced the factory springs with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and can honestly feel that the handling is better in the curves and a touch harsher in daily driving. Worth the compromise for me. I also did it for looks.

I don't want to lower mine just yet.

after 5 years in a slammed civic, its a nice change to be able to go over bumps comfortably and take steep inclined driveways without scraping
