I just saw this intake on ebay, and it looks alot similar to the GruppeM that I had in my bimmer that I just sold. The filter is also the same shape and size. Let me know what you guys think of it. -Michael. Heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=38634

This is a knock off of the Mugen intake the basic design is proven but I have never seen an intake like this on the boards before.

Is that a Mugen air filter they use? I want to buy but want to make sure replacement filters are easy to get.

Is the Mugen the one that you have to cut the hood for? It doesn't say whether you'd have to do that for this one, but if it is a Mugen knock-off then I'm sure you would have to.

I Don't think it will fit under the oem hood - hence you'll need a Mugen hood too right??

No you can cut your oem hood and it will fit fine. If i bought the knock off intake i might just buy the real mugen filter. i think that would be your best bet.
