I'd like to see if anyone else has found themselves doing something in someone else's car that they normal do in the S and caught themselves in the moment. I was driving my uncles 350z today and I sat in it, put the key in the ignition turned the key half way and started looking for the engine start button. Also I am so use to slowing down going into people's driveway's and dips in the street that when I was driving my parents Grand Cheroke I was going so slow until I realized my front bumper was a foot and half of the ground .

All too often I try to shift the MX5 into sixth gear.

My wife has an automatic, and both of my cars are standards. That's a weird experience. I'm always jumping on the non-existent clutch in her car when I start it and sometimes when I'm braking. It's very disconcerting.

As far as S-specific stuff goes, I have to be careful sometimes in my other car (which redlines below 6000)... The S is just starting to get interesting at those revs.

Oh, yeah... I've done that too in my 5-spd Sidekick. Good thing I don't have any cars with "three on the tree". I think I'd lose my mind.

Tagged a couple of my left fingers on the dashboard of my 4Runner the other day instinctually going for the start button. Sometimes I put my left foot on the brake before reaching for the start button, those are the times I feel really stupid.

pushing the floor panel thinking there's a clutch, easing gently into the middle of the seat as opposed to sliding in, BRAKING LATE
