What's Aluminum?
Although everyone say's it's just the hood, I took a sharp rock on the top of the fender and it removed the paint and removed metal from the fender. If it's not aluminum it's real soft steel. I guess we can try the magnet test!

The hood is the only large component made of aluminum. The chassis, suspension and remaining body panels are fabricated from steel.
BTW, don't let the dealers tell you that the titanium shift knob weighs less than the stock aluminum shift knob - titanium (0.16 lb/in^3) weighs 60% more than aluminum (0.10 lb/in^3). When I was buying my car, the sales person was trying to sell me a $350 (list is around $150) titanium shift knob, stating that it weighed less than the stock aluminum knob - the audacity of some people!
