Default What's the best gas to use??

I've had by 03' S2000 for 2 months now. I've noticed a significant difference in gas mileage when traveling mainly highway vs. mainly city (which would be expected). I would like to know what others would recommend regarding brands of gas. I always use 92 and above, however, has anybody noticed differences from, say, Shell to BP to Sunoco, etc.

Thanks.

Your going to get many different answers on this one, but I will give you my opinion. In my style of driving I have always tried to put Shell in my car. I always seem to get a few extra miles out of my tank with all the variables the same. I have put others like RaceTrack, but I just don't get as much milage per tank as I do with shell.

Chevron. and in my area (dc subrubs) Mobil definitely gives better mileage than Exxon.

Isn't Exxon and Mobil the same thing? Didn't they merge?

I tend to like to use gasoline with the Techron additive. I don't know whether this would make this the 'best' gas. I'd definitely go with a 93 octane without the Techron if I could find it here in SoCal.

I ONLY fill up with Chevron Supreme with Techron. But unfortunately, California only offers 91 octane.

its all 93 here, I use Mobil 93 and Sunoco 93. Sunoco 94 is offered at most Sunoco's and I use that as well. Havent noticed much of a difference between the two. -Anthony

I would suggest all of these to be very effective, and much better than the alternatives:
methane, propane, natural, and burrito

Does race fuel make a difference? 100 octane and up?
