whats the best intake?

has anyone got any info that demonstrates an increase in hp adn or torque beyond 1-2% with an intake??? i know about the noise factor, and increase in driveability some have experienced, but how about real performance info???

Tons of info here fellas....ya gotta use the search engine. It's one
of the best features on the site. I've written novels on intakes (I've
owned nine of 'em). The V2 is the finest (to date) I've owned. There are pics of
it installed but you've got to type "AEM Version" in the search engine.
By the time site vets decide whether or not to answer yet another intake
question, the search engine would give you encylopedia amounts of
info.
Seriously...it's like a library of S2000 knowledge seconds away.

I think the stock intake is a very good design. The only thing that I would add to it is a spoon snorkle (genuine or one of a similar design) to bring in air from the front of the car.
---but no harm in adding the spoon snorkel
