what's the deal with the start button?
Do you just like to find things to complain about?

Its "race inspired"
I'd rather just have a normal start, but is it really that big of a deal? Its not like anyone will or wont buy the car because of it.
Some ot the newer Ferrari's have this feature as well (albeit its on the steering wheel), and they also require a key to be used in conjuction. I'm sure those cars' owners aren't complaining!

On the new BMW 3 Series, you have to insert the fob in the slot, and then push a start button while your foot is on the brake. If foot is not on brake, the 'ignition' state alternates between off and fully on [there is no ignition key, naturally]. Our system is no more complex or annoying. Of course, BMW will soon be offering Comfort Access for $500; then you need not use the fob, as long as you have it in your pocket when you approach and enter the car.
