Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price

For 2001 it's $32,300 in the US.

most times people pay more than that, (for this car). I'm surprised it is cheaper there than here, usually, due to all the import duties and other exhorbitant taxes in Europe, cars tend to be much more expensive there. Although based in the "displacement tax" i beleive you have, the S2K is acutually very well placed due to it's 2.0 liter motor. I'm sure the record high American dollar valuation also plays a significant role in that exchange rate comparasion.

The average, post gouge price here in San Diego/SoCal is about $43000. That's all the forced options and another $8-10K just for fun.

Don't forget to add another 400 bucks or so for destination charge.
