I'm sure someone else will give you better information here. For the time being, I'd use Honda's recommendation as a minimum cold pressure.

It depends what type of driving you do. I keep about a 38 up front and a 34 on the back...I have S02's but I also have quite a bit of negative camber and drive the PISS out of it

There will never be closure on this debate (Ford/Bridgstone).
The car company wants the best ride, best grip and a distant third is the tire wear, and to not sacrifice safety.
The tire company wants the best tire safety (low heat) and is least concerned if your fillings are coming loose.
Anywhere between the car specification and the tire specification is ok, If I'm going to be on a long drive I usually inflate them to the tire specification, this will make for less heat (sidewall flex) If I'm doing the commute I use the car specification (softer ride). If I'm going to be on the track I usually listen to those who know the track and adjust from there.

I ran with high PSI but it kills the center of tire since the tires tend to plump out. The inner section of tire wear greater because it would be plump. The car handle better but hurt the ride. Now I just keep a mild setting for my tire pressure. I do believe it all on you on what you want on how much tire pressure you want to put to your car. Right now I prefer to run about 34 front and 32 rear.
