In today's market, good luck selling it for even $13k. Recession, layoffs, winter...
I think he's looking to buy. Just my guess though based on he doesn't have "owner" status in his profile.

Looking to buy. Asking price is 17k, I was actually going out there to buy one this weekend, thinking if I should look at this one while I'm there (Ohio).

I agree with starting at $15k but expect to pay a little more for mint condition and with a hard top.

Honestly, if I were the seller, I'd part out the hard top and sell it separately for a little more $$$.

If it was listed for 14 I would snap that thing up ASAP. Since you said it was listed for 17k thats sounds decent. I would pay 16.5 for it. I may be in the minority but I would love a low mile, all option s2k for that price.

I don't know, he took good care of it though, never saw rain or snow and was always garaged, probably changed it every summer when he drove it, but who knows.

I paid $14.4k for a 2000 silverstone with red/black interior, oem soft top, and 11,800 miles just 2 months ago. It wasn't a DD, never saw rain or snow, always had all fluids done and even had new direzza dz101's with <500 miles on them.
