KT's Suzuka: i believe in karma, though - they'll get what's coming to them

I think it's safe to say they are already living what's coming to them - and deservedly so.

That blows. That's one of my fears, but what can you do?

Realistically, if you want good-as-new, you have to go to a pro. But there are good touch-up paint instructions somewhere on this site. I'll see if I can find that link again...

Here it is (it's listed in the FAQs) https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/showfaq.php?threadid=17424

If you need touch-up, I still have silver left over from the group buy of the Auto Sharp Pen. http://www.cmgreen.com/paintpen

Good luck.

Thanks again for the nice comments and the offer for the touch up paint. I think I'm going to wait for now and have it fixed in a year or two when the front end needs re-painted/touched up. If what everyone says is true and the front is prone to chips I might as well wait and do it all at once... I guess I'm lucky I chose silver instead of black so I can afford this luxury. It's still the first damn thing I look at every morning though Of course if this is the worst thing in my life right now I guess I should count my blessings! After all I've been blessed enough to have a nice car, a good home, a decent job, and a great family... Life is good

Rod,
If you are going to wait that long to get it fixed, do your research in finding a good body shop. Very very few are worth their salt. Start contacting Porsche and Jaguar dealears and find out where they send their cars to.

My guess is the perp is a wannabe gangbanger who has done many other bad things as well. In my harsh blue collar neighborhood, (I live right down the street from my local Hells Angel county chapter) he would be harshly dealt with if caught.
No thought would be given to due legal process; he would have received his punishment immediately and on-the-spot.

Unfortunately, envy comes in many shapes and sizes, from simple jealously to keying your car to the recent events of Sept. 11. May all these purveyors of envy ultimately suffer the appropriate fate for their transgression.

Well, in less then 1 week of ownership, I also just got key-ed from the passenger door to the rear lights.
