I normally get about 28 MPG, highway and city combined. My best tank was about 32 MPG, my worst was about 22 MPG. Not alot of time spent in Vtec.

between 19-22 mpg for combined city and highway. More highway distance than city. Moderate Vtec use (below average)

WHen autocrossing it goes lower than 19mpg.

I get roughly the same gas mileage and we both live in the Denver area.

FYI - for every 1000 ft in elevation you loose 3% horsepower, but in return gain 3% in gas mileage, so apply that to your elevation and city. Spa01 and I are at about 6500ft, therefore get about 20% better gas mileage, but loose the power.
These are rough numbers but pretty accurate for our purposes.

Less air to combust = less horsepower = better gas mileage.

Road & Track says average is about 23-23.5 mpg and that is for an post04 s2k.
Make sure to compare apples to apples in the terms of elevation.

Hope this helps,

Take care,

Nugget

Most of my highway speed is spent between 60-70. However I do go up to the 80's for short stretches. I got 25mpg when I spent about 10-15 miles at 120+mph. Most of that tank was spent at about 70mph. It was also all highway speeds on that tank. I have never had a city only tank.
