Wheel Alignment Problem
Sorry its kinda long. Please read entire post before commenting.
My S got into an accident back in June and I didnt get it back until the beginning of July. My rear passenger wheel (not tire) was damaged in the accident and subsequently replaced. The shop that worked on my car never did a rear wheel alignment. When I got my S2K back I noticed that when i drove it felt that it kicked off to the left a bit when going over a bump. i figured it was just me and never said anything. After all this time I noticed that the outer edge of my tire is worn down compared with the rest of the tire. I went to the guy today and he said he would fix it.
My dilema is should I havej ust re-aligned the wheel and stick with the tires I already have?
OR
Should I have thrown a slightly worn tire on the rear to replace the balding one?
If I did this then the 2 rears would be uneven. Since the slightly worn tire has significantly more "meat" on it.
I chose to just re-align the existing tire for now since I will be putting my snow tires back on in two months and will buy new summer tires come spring. Was this a bad decision or what?
